Supporting Residents Through Financial Hardship and Complex Needs
Enabling Independence Welfare Services Team provides specialist advice, advocacy, and practical support to help residents improve their financial wellbeing, maximise income, and maintain independence. We support older people, disabled residents, young carers, families, and individuals experiencing financial hardship, vulnerability, or complex life circumstances.
Our services are designed to address the challenges caused by the rising cost of living, fuel poverty, welfare reform, and financial exclusion. Through a holistic, person-centred approach, we help residents access the benefits, grants, and support they are entitled to while building long-term financial resilience.
Working in partnership with local authorities, community organisations, healthcare providers, voluntary sector partners, and Cadent, we deliver coordinated support that addresses both immediate needs and long-term challenges. Together, we help residents improve their financial stability, reduce fuel poverty, and access the practical support needed to live independently and safely.

Helping older residents who may be missing out on Pension Credit and other financial entitlements.
