Enjoying Afternoon Tea

DABD opened its doors for afteroon tea with our Golden Years members.
On Friday the 8th September we welcomed the lovely residents of Pembroke Gardens for an afternoon filled with tea, music, cakes and laughter at our central office.
Over 40 members of our Golden Years groups turned up to spend some quality time with their neighbours in a very relaxed and fun setting.
We was honored to have Cllr Abdul Aziz , Mayor of Barking & Dagenham attend, who has chosen us to be one of his charities of the year!
Former CEO of DABD Lesley Hawes also showed up to have a trip down memory lane with staff and residents.
