It's an exciting time of growth and development for DABD and we are currently looking for Trustees to join our Board to provide corporate governance and help shape the future of the organisation.

The Board of Trustees are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of DABD, developing organisation aims, objectives and goals in accordance with the governing document, legal and regulatory guidelines.

If you have life and work experience and are keen and eager with a fresh outlook, we would welcome you as a Trustee.

You will be required to attend bi-monthly Trustee meetings at our offices in Dagenham and occasional events/ presentation evenings. We also have an AGM (usually in June). 

Trustees are also asked to attend any training where required. This will be arranged through DABD. 

A DBS check is also required for this role. This will be carried out by DABD. 

The role is voluntary but out of pocket expenses are covered.
