Personalcare

DABD (uk) Personalcare provides a high quality, flexible care support service for people who would like to remain independent within their own homes.
Our care support service is personalised and designed to encourage freedom of choice with clients actively supported to make decisions about their own care.

We are able to offer different levels of support tailored to the individual’s needs on a short-term or long-term basis.

We can also offer a wide range of specialised care support for people with higher levels or more complex needs such as learning difficulties, dementia or physical and sensory impairments.

London Borough of Barking & Dagenham have awarded us approved provider status and we are also inspected regularly by the Care Quality Commission to ensure we meet the government's standards of quality and safety.  

Our careworkers all undergo a stringent selection process including enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check and an ongoing training programme that meets the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and regulations.

Personalcare

We provide various aspects of personalcare support 24/7. This includes support with bathing, grooming, assisting with washing and dressing, assisting with medication including collection of prescriptions, preparing light meals, shopping and domestic work including laundry/ ironing. Our staff are trained in manual handling equipment techniques to use equipment such as hoists and slip sheets. We can also offer support with social activities including days trips and holidays (where possible) as well as support to attend hospital and GP appointments. 

Night care provision

We are commissioned by London Borough of Barking & Dagenham to provide a night care service to predominantly elderly or terminally ill people who require supported or palliative care during the night and qualify for support through Adult Social Care Services.

Independent Living Accommodation

We offer care support in an independent living accommodation setting for people with complex care needs who require a high level of care provision.
