Maths, English and Computers

For people looking to get to grips with Maths, English and Computer skills, DABD (uk) Training offers a range of free training courses* which can gain you recognised qualifications.

Our courses are flexible and tailored to suit you. All are delivered by experienced trainers at your own pace with full advice and guidance given.

We offer English and Maths courses at two levels, Level 1 (equivalent to GSCEs D – G) and Level 2 (equivalent to GCSEs A* – C).

Our Computer courses are suitable for all levels from complete beginners, who have little or no experience of computers, through to intermediate and advanced levels. Subjects covered on the courses include word processing (Word), using the Internet, spreadsheets/graphs (Excel), presentations (PowerPoint), building databases (Access) and desktop publishing (Publisher).

Courses take place at our Employment & Training Centre in Dagenham – just a short walk from Dagenham Heathway station – weekday mornings, afternoons and early evenings. Please contact us to discuss current class availability.

We also run courses at a number of outreach centres around Barking & Dagenham. 

Accreditations 

We are an OCR, NOCN and City & Guilds accredited learning centre and have been awarded the Matrix national quality standard for the delivery of information, advice and guidance on learning.
