DABD (uk) offers a number of services for children and young people, predominantly with additional needs, and their families. We are CQC registered and an Ofsted registered provider of childcare for ages 5+.
Our support workers can escort young people to travel to and from any clubs, groups and activities that they attend, as well as supporting them to participate in these groups.
They are also able to provide one-to-one support for young people on family day trips and outings.
Our care workers can provide various aspects of personalcare support for children living at home. This includes support with bathing, grooming, washing and dressing, toileting, assisting with medication and preparing light meals and snacks. Our staff are trained in manual handling techniques to use equipment such as hoists and slip sheets as well as being trained in PEG feeding procedures (feeding through a tube).
The Ab Phab Buddy Club is jointly run with Ab Phab Youth Club, every Saturday from 9am – 3pm at Kingsley Hall, Parsloes Avenue, Dagenham. The Buddy Club offers predominantly one-to-one support for young people aged 5 – 18 and includes activities such as a ball pool, sand pit, sensory room and arts and crafts as well as trips including swimming and park visits.
