DABD (uk) can offer Barking & Dagenham residents support to find work along with the opportunity to refresh existing skills and gain new ones to give you the best chance of finding employment.

Job Shop Community Outreach Project is run in conjunction with Barking & Dagenham Council and East Tenders. If you live in Barking & Dagenham, are aged 20 + and are unemployed or working less than eight hours per week, you could be eligible to receive support to find employment.

We also have a range of specific training courses to give you a good chance to secure employment in your chosen sector e.g. working in an office, as a beauty therapist, hairdresser, estate agent, careworker or in retail.

DABD (uk) is also able to advise on Welfare Benefits and Tax Credit entitlements to ensure that you are don’t lose out on any benefits or tax credits if you return to work.
